The Art of Combining Work and Play

I have been travelling on the Auto Show circuit for 8 years now. Not once has it dawned on me to blog about any of it. Perhaps it is because I'm not much of a writer, or perhaps it was because facebook did a decent job of chronicling those adventures. Kind-of. Ok, not really. The good news is that I can go back into those memories and pull those stories back out. That will be my goal for this last month of 2018, and my resolution for 2019.

So you may be asking what this is all about in the first place. Well, back in 2010 I took a job as a product specialist. I have never really left the state of Michigan up until that point, or at least very far. Ohio and Windsor, Canada don't count when you live so close to them. We did a few family trips to Florida, but beyond that - nothing. then this job comes along and I was not prepared for the amount of personal growth that it would provide. Not only did it get me to hone in on people skills, but it also showed me just how vastly different this country really is. Trust me, that's not a bad thing at all!

I also have a background in the arts, as well as an insane love for the automobile, which you'll see through these posts. As such, I always have a camera on me. I never took photography seriously, however. I just enjoyed it, and loved capturing those moments. It wasn't until real recently where this hobby started to actually teeter on the line of becoming something more. I am still trying to figure this whole "thing" out. Even though I missed the boat on when Instagram was easier to gain an audience, as well as blogging, it's never to late to start!
