New Mexico has some of the best dark skies in the United States.  It can be seen here in this moonlit landscape taken in eastern New Mexico.  The clouds play peek-a-boo with the Milky Way, creating a rather dreamy scene.  This was one of my personal favorite shots from the road trip out west in May 2020.
